As editor of the Today Show, Matthew assists producers source content, resolve production issues and deliver engaging news and entertainment content that editorially keeps in line with the program’s values, style and media regulations/law.

Matthew edits to varying stylistic preferences of news producers and also takes editorial initiative as one of the last lines of defence before content makes it to air.

Working in the fast-paced and high pressure space of LIVE broadcast news and television, using Velocity and ENPS software, Matthew cuts Openers, Play-Offs, Story Packages, Sound on Tapes, Graphics & Motion Graphics, Segment Overlay, selects and publishes music.
